About the IAGL

The Indo-American Golf League, Inc., ("IAGL"), is a private, members-only, handicap-based golf league that plays monthly individual stroke play tournaments throughout the Houston Gulf-Coast area.  While the IAGL does cater towards golfers of South Asian decent, membership applications are open to anyone sponsored by an IAGL member.

Players compete for both cash prizes and tournament points that accumulate in a race for the IAGL Championship at season's end.  Our monthly tournaments utilize live leaderboards displaying all players' real-time scores after every hole...for the more demanding player.  Registration, scoring and cart pairings are all performed electronically, allowing for  efficient administration, real-time scoring and, critically, more time enjoying the 19th hole.

Points accumulated through regular tournaments and majors are combined with a player's final Championship results to determine the year's IAGL Champion.  The IAGL League Champion, along with the other league winners, are recognized at our annual IAGL Championship Gala.
