FORMAT:
The BTM LAWYERS TEAM SCRAMBLE SHOOT-OUT is a 2-Person Team scramble over 18 holes at the Westwood Plateau Country Club. The event has 2 Divisions (Open & Net) and is open to both Pros and Amateurs with a handicap of 24.0 or less.
TWO DIVISIONS:
OPEN DIVISION:
Players will pair up to compete in a 2-PERSON GROSS SCRAMBLE (no strokes given).
This event is open to all male and female Pros & Amateurs with index of 5.0 & less. Teams may consist of two Pros, two Amateurs or one Pro & one Amateur.
NET DIVISION:
Players will pair up to compete in a 2-PERSON NET SCRAMBLE (and will receive 25% of their team’s combined handicap to determine their NET SCRAMBLE score)
This event is open to all male and female Amateurs with registered Golf Canada or USGA handicap under 24.0.
Example: Player A is an 18 handicap off the tee’s he plays. Player B is a 14. Their total handicap is 32, so this team will receive 25% of 32 = 8 strokes. If their ‘gross’ scramble score is 75, their net scramble score = 67.
- TEAM CHAMPIONS WILL BE CROWNED IN BOTH DIVISIONS!
- The TOP 25% OF TEAMS IN EACH DIVISION WILL WIN PRIZING!
SINGLES: If you are a single and need a partner please register in golf genius as a single and you will be paired up randomly with another player in that division (unless you notify us of your partner)
YARDAGE ASSIGNMENTS:
MALE OPEN DIVISION: Approximately 6,700 yards
MALE NET DIVISION: Approximately 6,200 yards
FEMALE OPEN DIVISION: Approximately 5,900 yards
FEMALE NET DIVISION: Approximately 5,300 yards
Start Times:
OPEN DIVISION: 9:30am – 11:30am
NET DIVISION: 11:40am – 2:00pm
Full Field Size: 60 teams (30 OPEN + 30 NET)
TEAM PAYOUTS: Top 25% of each Division will make the prize payouts
*Note: Pros will win cash for payouts. Amateurs will win VGT Prize Credits.

Member Priority – until May 1st.
Priority is given to VGT Members until May 15th at 6pm. After that time the event is open for non-members to register.

OPTIONAL TEAM SKINS GAME: $20/player = $40/team (both have to register to play)
OPEN DIVISION: Using Gross Scramble Score for skins
NET DIVISION: Using Net Scramble score for skins (using 25% of combined HDCP to determine stroke holes.
*NOTE: Mixed gender teams are not eligible for net skins game due to male vs. female stroke holes being different. If they would like to compete in the Hole-in-one Jackpot, they may opt to pay $5 entry fee at registration to qualify.

Players are reminded to review the Policies and Procedures of VGT outlining all cancellation and no-show fees HERE.
PROGRESSIVE HOLE-IN-ONE JACKPOT - $5,000 HOLE-IN-ONES!
- In order to qualify for the Hole-in-one (H.I.O) JACKPOT offered at a VGT event, a player must be entered into the $20 skins game/hole-in-one pot for that event. If there is no winner of the hole-in-one at VGT event, the current hole-in-one pot will carry over to the next event until we have a winner of the jackpot.
- If the jackpot accumulates to $5,000, it will be cut-off at $5,000 and the first eligible person (see above) to score a hole-in-one on an eligible jackpot hole will receive the $5,000 payout.
- As of April 13th we have 3 x $5,000 Hole-in-One Jackpot prizes up for grabs!!
- If we have a winner of the 1st $5,000 Jackpot, then then the eligible person to score a hole-in-one in the event would win the 2nd $5,000 Prize and if a 3rd person scored a hole-in-one during this event they would win the 3rd $5,000 Prize. Any additional hole-in-ones at this event would not qualify for prizing since all 3 prizes would have been won already.
- Due to the skill difference of Pros versus the Amateurs in the field, we level the playing field for the JACKPOT two ways:
- By allowing the Senior Division amateurs to tee-off a shorter designated tee-box at various times compared to Professionals and Championship Amateurs.
- VGT hosts numerous Amateur only events where Amateurs have a chance to win the JACKPOT without Pros in the field.

Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club is set high above Coquitlam, on Eagle Mountain. Offering great golf in a spectacular mountain setting only 45 minutes from downtown Vancouver. Course designer Michael Hurdzan has incorporated large Douglas Firs, massive granite rock faces, and rugged ravines into this par 72, 6770 yard course.
