36-HOLE CHAMPIONSHIP CRITERIA

We are excited to announce the criteria for the 4th Annual GolfBC Group BC Women’s Open, set to be staged at the world-renowned Nicklaus North Golf Course in Whistler, BC.

All female golfers with official Golf Canada or USGA handicap index between 4.1 to 26.0, and all female Senior Amateur golfers (55+ years) with index up to 26.0 are eligible to play.

36-HOLE CHAMPIONSHIP DETAILS (June 5-6th)

  • Open to Senior Amateurs (55+years) & golfers with a handicap index of 4.1 to 26.0.
  • The max field for this event is 40 players
  • Registration opens Thursday, March 13th, 2025.
  • Registration Deadline: May 22nd, 2025

 

 

TOURNAMENT ENTRY INCLUDES

    • Two competitive rounds at Nicklaus North Whistler on June 5-6th.
    • One complimentary practice round per player on June 4th.
    • Player’s package includes welcome gifts valued at $200
      • Customized Cutter & Buck tournament pullover or zip vest
      • $100 Maui Jim Gift Certificate
    • $50/player allocated to prize purse ($2,000 in prize purse based on full field)
    • Amazing Draw Prizes!!

36-HOLE EVENT PRIZE PURSE (Seniors & 4.1 to 26.0 hdcp)

 

THREE DIVISIONS:

  • Alternating gross and net results will be used to determine prize pay-outs within each division:
    • Senior Division (55+ years as of June 5th)
    • Two Handicap Divisions (4.1 to 26.0) divided equally between non-senior field.
  • Top 25% of each Division will earn gift card prizing.
  • Winners will be emailed a gift card code for the amount of their gift card value and how to redeem their winnings.
  • Players will have until Oct.30th, 2025 to redeem their gift cards through the VGT store at www.myvgt.com.

ENTRY FEE

  • 36-Hole Event Amateur entry Fee: $395 plus GST ($414.75)

 

WITHDRAWAL POLICY

Players are reminded to be aware of the policies and procedures outlined on the VGT site HERE.

There is a $50+GST admin fee for processing any withdrawals after May 23rd, and up until May 29th. After May 29th, any withdrawals will be subject to a full loss of tournament entry.
