HOW DO I REGISTER (sign up) FOR A TEE TIME? WHEN WILL I KNOW MY TIME?

 

• REGISTER for a Golf Event as soon as the Event has been OPENED for registration. Events will be "OPENED" approximatley 4-6 weeks prior to the event, and you will recieve an Email inviting you to Register.

 

• An INVITATION to register will also appear on the left side of the screen (this is called a "mini-page") and you simply click on the EVENT. After you confirm, you will see that you are "REGISTERED FOR THIS EVENT". Similarly you have the option to "UNREGISTER".

 

• When registration is CLOSED, you will see on the mini-page that the "EVENT IS CLOSED" and we will know exactly how many players have committed to play and how many tee times will be necessary. The software then generates groupings and tee times based on the event format and the number of registered players. Tee times will be posted in the Section TEE SHEETS two weeks prior to the event and can be printed if desired.

 

• YOU MUST REGISTER AT LEAST 17 DAYS PRIOR TO THE DATE OF THE GOLF EVENT  (i.e. the Wednesday two weeks prior to a Saturday Event) so that we have time to either increase or decrease the number of Tee Times grouped together for the TPGL.

 

• HERE'S WHY REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE 17 DAYS PRIOR TO A GOLF EVENT:    Steeple Chase does not have permanent weekend tee times; consequently, public tee times at Steeple Chase can be made two weeks in advance (15 days in advance for Mundelein residents). Therefore, it is imperative that we have our number of players registered for an event prior to public tee time availability so that we can reserve the correct number of tee times needed to accomodate all TPGL players who want to play that event. The couse will not hold weekend times for the TPGL after they are made available to the public and then risk not having them filled unless we guarantee payment for these times. This is not a sound financial risk for the League. They will, however, accomodate us with more consecutive tee times if we have more than 5 groups on Saturday and 4 groups on Sunday.

 

• The bottom line is that unlike the last few years at Bittersweet.........

 

YOU NEED TO REGISTER 17 DAYS PRIOR TO A GOLF EVENT 

 to be assured that you will have a spot.
